Gratitude Project {How to join in}

Gratitude Project {How to join in}

November is almost here and every November Amy and I do a personal gratitude project. There are so many blessings in our lives in the form of people, places, nature, and opportunities. For me, taking the time to slow down and appreciate the small graces in my life is so important.  I know I take so much for granted. Like the fact I am not worried about if we will have food tonight for supper, or if the sun will rise again tomorrow, or if I have clean water.    Join in is easy. Look around your...
Baby “doll”

Baby “doll”

Well… she isn’t a baby and more but she is still a Doll! haha..her last name is Doll! Throughout September and October we created family films at each of our Heritage Sessions. But this little girl had to take the cake! She was so full of joy and giggles.  Her knock knock jokes were classics and still funny! But I think it was her dance moves that we will remember the most! Getting to run around in beautiful fall weather with a cute little girl was the best!   Can you only...
Family…

Family…

Weekends seem busy lately… the kids are getting older so we typically have some sort of ball game, and somehow before we know it, the weekend is gone, and we are still exhausted. The Kids found the flying pig

There was no school in our area last Thursday, so we took the opportunity to host a little photography hike. Amy likes to hide weird and silly things for kids to find during our Adventure Guide Photo hikes. Often it is a little gnome, but today it as a colorful flying pig (made of metal and stolen from her in-laws backyard, not a real flying pig,silly).  We headed out for an exciting hour of photography… a bit windy but otherwise a great day for an adventure. Everyone had a list of...

Trick or Treat {Photo tips for Halloween}

One year I made a full on Gryffindor robe and quidditch broom for my son. He wore it for about 15 minutes and then decided he was too cool to dress up! WHAT!!!!   But it is a fun time to document because we can see what they are in to that year.  We moved to Holton about 6 years ago and the one thing I have love is...
