School is quickly approaching…can you believe it? We can’t. It seemed to zip by. We have one last amazing photo opportunity for your  kids ages 8 and older. We have partnered with Wolfes Camera Shop and The Kansas Museum of History to explore camera basics and a little bit about photography history. Any photo skill level is welcome.  We do require a parent to attend with a child… which  is a bonus! As they are photographing at home you will be able to help them with their questions.  We have kids attend with all kinds of cameras (cell phones, point and shoot, or DSLR cameras!). Our goal, at our beginner kid’s photography class, is to have kids leave with a greater understanding of light and composition. If you child has more advanced questions we are able to help them with that too!

It is amazing to see what a child sees through their camera lens. Children have a magical way of seeing details and everyday objects. They also tend to photograph things important to them… which makes their images the perfect time capsules. We hope to have you and your child/children join us.  We are limited to 20 child seats so please register early if you are interested!

This class will take place at the Kansas History of Museum on Thursday, August 9th from 1 pm -3 pm.  We will be both inside and outside during the class. We suggest packing some water and bug spray. The cost of the class includes admission to the museum! Feel free to message us at thewildchildphotography@gmail.com if you have any questions.
