There is nothing that makes me happier then mixing two things I love… Photography and flowers.

I don’t know about you but I am a visual and hands on learner. I love being outside hands on my camera just exploring.

Why flowers? Well, as a new photographer still life is the perfect subject, mainly because it is still! When we photograph our kids or pets we are kind of at their mercy to stand still. I don’t know how your kids are, but mine are about as patient as a toddler. Maybe your is an actual toddler. So when we use a still object we get slow down and focus on our cameras and figure out what exactly we should be doing to get the kinds of pictures we want.

We want to invite you to gather with us among the flowers and learn more about photography.

During our time together you will:

  1. Learn about basic camera terms
  2. Learn how to adjust your camera settings
  3. Get out and shoot in beautiful light during the Golden Hour (weather permitting)
  4. Learn how to compose strong images

More details to come! But if you want to be the first to know email us at thewildchildphotography@gmail.com.  This workshop will be in the Lawrence, KS area.
